NFL telecommuters earn big salaries in new jobs, new report says.
The report says it shows that while there are still some jobs that demand specialized skills, the demand for telecommunication workers is growing rapidly.
The industry has seen a steady increase in job openings since 2010.
The new report comes from the National Association of Black Business Owners (NABBO), which released a report earlier this month that says there are now 4.5 million telecommuting positions across the country.
The association said it expects that number to rise to 6 million by 2019.
The jobs are generally in financial services, healthcare, retail, hospitality, public relations and advertising.
The National Association says the growth in the industry has been driven by advances in technology.
“As telecommutation is increasingly popular, more employers are adopting telecommute training programs, and the need for more professionals to meet this demand is increasing,” the association said in a statement.
